Sur certains blogs de vaudou, des sorciers sans scrupule vous parle de « confiance et conviction » à toutes les sauces, en vous rabâchant inlassablement que si votre confiance faiblis vous mettez en péril le résultat du rituel. Remettant en cause également la mentalité caucasienne qui ne croit pas assez au résultat de part ces racines monothéistes. Par expérience et pour avoir vécu dans la caraïbe, je peux vous affirmer que les personnes qui s’expriment ainsi sont des charlatans. En effet, j’en discuter avec un ami hougan à Port au Prince par téléphone il y a peu « c’est important de douter » on ne parle pas de douter de ses actes, de son rituel, de se qui arrive, mais bien de douter des autres. Pas besoin d’être médium ou d’un doctorat en ésotérisme pour savoir que certaines phrases ou attitude son signe de malhonnêté. Vous êtes libre de penser du mal ou du bien d’un sorcier, vous êtes libre d’envoyer chier toute personne qui vous fait chier, vous êtes libre de rendre les coups meute ou pas meute, et vous êtes libre de vous défendre contre la méchanceté et la malhonnêté. Parce que le vodou est une religion, que les lwas savent tous, et les lwas défendent les innocents.
